On our last night at Las Vegas, we splurged ourselves by staying at the luxurious Wynn Hotel. It was luxurious, indeed. Our room was on the 57th floor (eye level to the planes flying by) and it overlooked the Wynn’s golf course. This was the view:
Pretty sweet! This room was all teched up too, with automatic curtain closers/openers, tv in the bathroom, etc. The beds were also a dream! 100% egyptian cotton sheets, plush pillows, the works:
Lastly, the amneties were fantastic! They have this soap that smells so lemony and fresh!!! YUMMY! We saw that the soap cost around four dollars at the Wynn stores (ARGH), so we went up to our room..asked the room service people for a couple more, and wala…taking some of them home. *evil laugh*
To further pamper ourselves, we dined at Wynn’s Buffet. The buffet was ginormous! We made a beeline for crab legs (of course) and stuffed our faces full. My mother liked their vegetable pizzas (thin crusted) and I liked their fried chicken.
All in all, the buffet was pretty tasty with a mix of gourmet and homey foods. The dessert section was a little lacking though….nothing too memorable there.
To top the night off, we watched Le Reve. We were all very excited about this show. Honestly, I thought some parts of it were fantastic! My mom declared that these were not human but robots. haha. The amount of agility and strength these performers had were out of this world. Asides from their incredible acrobatic skills, I thought there were some parts that were very cheesy and why they put in those parts there, I do not know. I don’t want to ruin it for yalls, so I guess you will have to take my word for it.
Pictures of the show were not allowed, but here is a picture of the incredible water stage prior to the opening of the show:
That’s a picture of a bed in the middle there. The basic storyline is of a dream (surprise!) that a girl has…so yeah.
Ok, well I am off back to the city of angels. It was fun, folks! I’m sad to wake up from my ‘le reve.’ T-T Bye bye Vegas!
